What does individual pet cremation mean?

Every animal is unique. That’s why we provide individual cremations for every pet, however big or small.

Can I bring my pet to Marley Hall?

Please contact us to arrange your visit or for us to collect your pet. We listen and respect your wishes.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire. You are welcome to bring your loved pet from any location.

How much does it cost to have my pet cremated?

The cost of pet cremation depends on the size of your animal and your location. Please see pricing here.

What if my pet passes over a weekend or evening?

For an out-of-hours service, we charge a £75 surcharge outside of our opening hours, and for all day Sunday.

Can I discuss my wishes ahead of needing your services?

We understand this is a very tough time, so we are happy to guide you through all aspects of the day. We can also discuss your wishes and any special touches you would like to add.

What kind of pets can be cremated?

We provide pet cremation services for big, small, and everything in between, such as dogs, cats, and small animals.

What are your opening hours at Marley Hall?

We are open 9am – 6pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday. Outside of these times, please text us on 07415077399 and if we can help we will.

How do I know when I will get my pet’s ashes back?

We never want to prolong the pet cremation service. That’s why we always strive to return your companion’s ashes to you safely within 24 hours, (sometimes even the same day if possible) Please feel free to give us a call and we can discuss the option with you in detail.

What are the procedures at Marley Hall?

Firstly, speak to us to arrange your visit or for us to collect your pet. After attentive preparations, you can say goodbye in our dedicated farewell room. Finally, we will provide you with a personal memorial and a selection of tributes to commemorate a special life.

Can you collect my pets from home?

At Marley Hall Pet Crematorium, we offer a free collection service from your home within a five-mile radius of our facilities in Ledbury, Herefordshire. The cost for collection beyond this radius is a minimum £50 charge; over 33 miles is £1.50 per mile both ways.

How will my pet be treated?

We take care of every pet as if they are our own. From the very first phone call or communication, we are here to support your needs. As you pass your pet from your care to ours, you can rest assured that your pet will be treated with love and respect. Our pet crematorium is equipped to treat every companion the way they should be treated – with individuality and care.

What happens when I arrive?

We will guide you through every step. Once you arrive, we will discuss your needs before taking you to our dedicated farewell room where you can take a moment to say goodbye to your loved one.

What happens after cremation?

We try to give you back your ashes within 24 hours. We then can discuss with you the way in which you would like to commemorate your loved one's special life.

Can I have my pet cremated and collected on the same day?

We never want to prolong the pet cremation service. That’s why we always strive to return your companion’s ashes to you safely within one day where possible, subject to your location and the time of year.

Do I need an appointment?

Marley Hall is also our family home, so we ask that you kindly call or email to make an appointment before you arrive. This also ensures each family that needs us has their own uninterrupted time.

How long will an appointment last?

The length of an appointment can vary based on your needs and wishes. Please contact us to discuss and we can provide a better estimate.

What happens to my pet's bedding, basket, or carrier?

You are welcome to keep these items, or we can handle them respectfully as you prefer.

What cremation options are there?

Our individual pet cremation services include:

Are you accredited?

Yes, we are a member of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria, which has very high standards that we follow. Learn more here. In addition we are also inspected annually by the Government body APHA.

Will my pet be individually cremated?

Definitely, every pet entrusted into our care receives an individual cremation and their ashes returned to their family. Unlike most pet crematoriums we do not undertake mass cremations or clinical waste here at Marley Hall.

Will my pet be placed in cold storage/freezer?

Definitely not, all pets are cremated the same day they come into our care therefore there is no need for cold storage

Do you offer euthanasia?

We don’t offer a euthanasia service here at MarleyHall. However, we can recommend home vets that cover your area.

Can I leave my pet in their bed?

Absolutely, you are most welcome to leave your dear pet snuggled up in their bed or favourite blanket.We can leave them tucked up in their bed/blanket until the cremation takes place. The bed/blanket can of course be retuned to you should you want it back.
